Happy Birthday

I had to do a quick card for a "Special Uncle's Birthday".  I had this car I had saved on my computer that I got at "Digital Two For Tuesday" Cora has great vintage pictures go follow her blog and take a look. I got these new cards with envelopes that are 5 1/2 X 5 1/2.  I had some scrap black striped paper and rounded all the corners. The birthday tickets I had copied that was also a "Freebie".  I do not remember where it came from.
I am going to had a gift card from his favorite place "Wally World".  It also will work for a challenge over at "Birthday Sundaes and Charisma Cardz.

Cute As A Button

I have had this button for some time and wanted to use it.  I love this paper and it just so happened that it was in a stack of MS paper. It has glitter and I just got this ribbon from Paper Wishes in a pack. Simple card but I love the paper. Hope you like it to. Please leave a comment because we all love comments. This card was entered into a challenge over at "The Sisterhood".

Happy Birthday

I so love this paper. It glitters and the lace and the layered butterfly's. I just could not cover up this paper. I cut out 3 butterfly's out of the same paper and layered them on 3 other butterflies with pop dots. The photo does not do the card justice.  Each butterfly has a pink pearl. The paper is from the Garden Stack by DCWV. This was made to enter into the challenge at Birthday Sundaes.  Please leave a comment because we all love comments.

Father's Day!

Made this card for my father for father's day. I remember going fishing with my Dad. I love the fishing trips. He is now 86 years old this past April 1st.  I am so lucky to have him still.  This plaid is so great full of lots of colors.  The yellow and red lure is real and has a real hook on it.  The other items I bought a long time ago for scrap booking. The cut are cricut and from my go to cartridge "Celebrate With Flourish". Please leave a comment because we all love comments.

Be Happy! Friends

I have been thinking about using this paper for sometime. I was looking through the blogs that I follow and someone had done a card with a bee. I used the circuit cartridge "Walk In My Garden".  It is a favorite of my friend Jeannie. I made this card thinking of her. Added some bling, ribbon and a flower.  This card was so much fun to do. I am going to try and use my Expressions more along with all my paper and cartridges.  Please leave a comment because we all love comments.

Happy Birthday

This card is for a favorite "Aunt" who will be 88 years old on the 22nd. She will also celebrate and Anniversary on that date. She is a "Hoot". I loved making this card and added so much to it. On the basket with her sewing notions it says "Happy Birthday" in red. It has black lace down the one side and red bling ear rings with a flower in her gray hair. The image is one from Loralie fabric swatch "Sew Fabulous".  I copied the fabric into the computer printed it on card stock and cut it out.  This was so much fun and I hope she likes it. Please leave a comment as we all love comments.

Happy Birthday

Have you ever started out with an idea that just was not meant to come out the way you wanted it to.  I got this wonderful material panel from Loralie Fabrics called Sew Fabulous Fabric Panel.  I love them.  I did not want to use them each for cards so I put them on my printer and scanned them. I cut them out and added a little bling. Pearls, sequin's, and flowers with a brad for the hat. Then I decided a border was needed also.  I added a "Happy Birthday" and this is what I got.  I am going to enter it on the Challenge at Birthday Sundaes. The Challenge was at use to use 3 circles. The background has circles.   Hope you enjoy and please leave a comment.

Apple Of My Eye!

This card was made for a challenge over at Cardz TV.  The blogger has been down so I was not sure I would make the challenge. The saying was cut on Stencil from the Just Because Cartridge.  The paper was from a GCD paper stack purchased at Big Lots regular $5.00 for half price. The apple was a Dimensional Sticker  package from Michael's in the $1.00 Bin.  I added a little blink and here is the results. This was a fun card to make. Please leave a comment.

Cupcake Birthday!

This card was made for the Challenge #1 of The Pink Stampers.  I was spending Mothers Day with my 83 year old mother and today she wanted to visit with me so I had only one chance to enter the Challenge and this was it. Robyn posted a posting about "Mothers Day To All Women" which made me even more grateful that she is still with me. The last 2 days we have spent a lot of time together and it has made memories for me that will last forever.  Good Luck to everyone in all the Challenges.  I made this card also to enter into this weeks challenge at "Birthday Sundaes". This challenge was to use 2 pattern papers and 3 embellishments.

Happy Birthday

This card was inspired by my friend "Tracey" from Trace Elementz and as a Challenge at "Birthday Sundaes". She loves "Vintage" and so do I.  The card picture does not do justice to the true colors that are in the card. The image is from "Digital Two For Tuesday". If you follow Cora's blog she does a lot of Vintage digital pictures. This image was from a 1930's Fashion Service Magazine. Visit her blog and she has lots of Vintage laddies in Hat's.

Mother's Day

This card was inspired by the "Freebie At Digital Two". I love this saying. It was made with stripes and a brown flower design paper on a chocolate brown cardstock base. The two designs. Green ribbon with white dotted lines was put across to bind the layers together. Green pearl bling was added. This photo does not really do justice to the finished card. Please leave a comment...

Thank's A Latte!

This was some scraps that I had plus a new stamp. If you know anything about me it is how much I love coffee.  This was such fun to make. Due to the glitter I am sorry the photo did not come out better. I took a few pictures and this was the best.
