Recyecled Christmas Tree!

Another recycled card.  This one was a Christmas tree in layers. I removed it from the card I received and rebuilt it on a new one.  Added ribbon and a little bling and pop dotted the layers. The Stamp was from one of K.Andrews sets. All her stamps are made in the USA. http://www.gettingcricky.com/p/products-stamps.html Stop by and take a look she has stamps for every occasion.....Hope you enjoy the card and please leave a comment because we all love comments.

Season's Greetings!

This is another tag that I got in that big box of 60 from Sam's.  I love this card. I have this plaid ribbon that I adore. Added a black background on top of the red.  I wish it said "Merry Christmas" but "Seasons Greetings" will have to do...........Added a little red bling and this is what I ended up with. Hope you like it and be sure and leave a comment because we all love comments.

Let It Snow!

This was made with a tag from "Hallmark".  I was on a mini trip to Tennessee and went to Sam's.  I came across this box of tags which had an assortment of tag of all kinds. This was one of the tags and they had bows and ties on them.  Enough to make about 60 cards. Tags with Santa's, Snowflakes, Pine Cones, Christmas Saying's and much more and all for less than $10.00. I love the snow flake paper on the blue card. The "Let It Snow" came from my go to cartridge "Cricut Lite Celebrate With Flourish".  I added a little bling and this was the result. I believe that Diane Payne likes the color blue and I know she likes "Snowflakes".  I thought of her when I made this. Hope you like and be sure and leave a comment because we all love comments.

Second "Treehouse" Question?

Several people said that the first thing you see when you open the door is a pot  belly stove. Well that was not the case but to the right when you open the door you do see a pot belly stove. The sad part is it is not connected and is just for decor. The rockers are real and very comfortable.  To the left of the door when you enter is the kitchen which had all the modern conveniences of any other kitchen except for one difference which was the kitchen sink was:
a.  It was in the shape of a bathtub
b.  It was in the shape of an old washtub
c.  It was wood carved around a beautiful antique bowl
I hope that you are enjoying this and share with your blogger's. I have lots of views and not many messages. Enjoy and I will be back to do another question along with the answer to this one. HAVE FUN!

Harvest Blessings

I love the fall colors in this card. I downloaded the paper off the Internet and added my own leaves and buttons. The colors will soon be gone but the cards and pictures we take will be lasting memories.  The stamp was of course from one of Kristal Andrew's Fall-O-Ween. Visit her blog and order some of her great stamps. I added some bling and this was the results.  I hope you enjoy this and be sure and leave a comment and don't forget to keep checking back for the next mini vacation question..........

"A Tree"

I first want to thank the 6 people that left me a comment out of all the views that I got. I got only 6 comments.  It was a tree. The table is attached to the sides of the tree and the short piece in the front of this picture has a seat on the other side and is the chair. There was 2 chairs.   I am keeping score and know I had 3 correct answers. Those 3 answers came from Tracey, Jani, and Brenda...... Stay tuned for another picture soon with a question........ I really appreciate that these followers played along all 6 of you...
Thanks and stay tuned for another picture and even a card..........

Christmas Card

I love Santa's and this one is vintage.  I love this black snow flake background.  Hard to see but it has silver like flakes. I had this digital picture in my stash of digital images. I copied him on card stock and cut him out and pop dotted him on top of another copy. I had the stamp from some old rubber stamps that I have. I put my black snow flake paper on a white card.  I pop dotted the red label.  I used some foam silver snow flakes from "Reflections" and this is what I got. I hope you enjoy it and please leave a comment because we all love comments. I am going to enter this in a challenge over at the "Pink Stamper".

Straight From The Heart!

This idea came from a picture of a card that I saw in "Paper Crafts Magazine the Sept./Oct.  2011 issue. I love this magazine.  Their card was quite a bit different. Theirs was "Use A Hand Card" with a club background on white base card stock with with a Ace down to a ten on the front. I did not want mine to look like it was for valentines day so I used pink with red hearts. I have a friend who loves hearts and uses them a lot on her creations somewhere.  I thought of her when I made this card. She lives in Australia and knows who she is. She has a wonderful blog http://trace-elementz.blogspot.com/.   Tracey I love your creations and this card was made with you in mind. I had to put my signature on it also with the "Butterflies". Visit her blog and become a follower she is a very talented lady........Hope you like this and please leave a comment because we all love comments.

The cartridge is " Cricut List Love You a Latte".  The name of the coffee shop is  "Java Joe" this is from the stamp set "Coffee & Tea For You & Me" from KAndrews Designs. So this fits right in with all our loves of the 50's.  We are going to celebrate with going out to eat Mexican.  This card has a 7 X5 green card stock base. I had this black in the scrap box and it looks like a road so I though I would use it. The buttons are brads and are denim.  The saying is from KAndrews stamp set "Coffee and Tea For You & Me". Dreams...........

I saw this card in the "Cricut Cards" magazine that I won and just loved it. I love the hot air balloon. This was a great idea made from 3 different Cricut cartridges. The book did not have a cartridge listed for the clouds. I used "Straight From The Nest" for the balloon which on the cartridge is a "Birdcage".  The bottom of the balloon is from the same cartridge and is a "Flowerpot".  Punch holes in both and used Embroidery thread in green.  Put the entire thing on pop dots and this is what I got. I used another cut for the dolly from "Easter Seasonal".  Clouds from "April Showers" with different blue papers and layered them. Background paper from a stack from "Big Lots" in a pattern blue. This card is an odd size 5 X 8.  I have never made a card this size...I am thinking about adding a pearl to each cloud. The saying is from Kristal Andrew stamp set "Winged Things".  This stamp set is full of so many possibilities. Visit her blog and tell her you saw my card: http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/  Hope you enjoy this card and please leave a comment because we all love comments.

Walmart Bargins...............

Everyone is always talking about "Bargain's". I seem to miss the most of them living in a small town with one place to get things. I made some "Hello Kitty" invites for my neighbors little girls birthday party.  She called me last week and said she stopped at the "Walmart" in Williamsburg, Ky. and said they had cartridges for $10.00.  She was on her way to Knoxville Tn.  I was getting ready for a reunion and though another lost opportunity.  Tom said lets go. So we hopped in the car and went about 15 miles down the road to Walmart not our Walmart.  They were remolding and had almost all the crafts on sale..... This stash cost me $120.00.  I got the mats for $9.00 and 6 cartridges for $60.00 and the bling is Jolee's Boutique which is usually $3.00 which was .50 off each pack and I got 7 packs.  I got 2 tape refills and 2 packs of deep blades which I don't think were on sale but cheaper than ordering the.  I was just happy with everything. Its so great to not have missed the cartridges............. Don't forget to look at my last posting below this posting..........

Birthdays

This is a card I made for a very special person.  I love the square cards and made this on 6 X6.  I wanted to put a lot on it. I typed a letter in Words and printed it on Yellow card stock and put it on the inside along with another flower. The flower squares and the pink printed background were from my favorite paper DCWV Flower Shower Spring Stack. I love that stack of paper. The base was Bazzill pink card stock.  I added ribbon and bling on the flowers.  It came out better than I thought it would.  Last but not least the sentiment was made using 2 different sets of stamps. Birthdays

Celebration! Happy Birthday! I am using my favorite things on this card. The base is from Bazzill Basics Paper in a light blue.  The fireworks with stars & stripes is from my favorite DCWV stack "All Seasons II". The stamp is from Loralie Designs the Serious Shopper. She use to make a fabric panel with Shopper panels on it which she no longer makes. This is a digi I created from her stamp and fabric. I did not color this.
The  saying is complement by a stamp at the in that says "Let's Paint the town red" from my friend at http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/  called "Fashionable Friends". This set of stamps compliments the Loralie Designs products.  Be sure and take a look at her stamps. To go right along with the 4th of July the stamps are "AMERICAN MADE". Hip, Hip, Hooray! Friends

These are different variations on an image that I had that was on my new CD " Double Sprinkles Of Kraft". I had already post the last card on the right before. I was awaiting these special stamps to finish them but had not received them on the previous post. I am now going to chance the sentiment on it later but just had to post this today. Today I received my wonderful art stamps from "K. Andrew".  She has come out with 6 sets of wonderful art stamps. Another thing that make these so great is they are made in "USA" yes the good old USA.  Also another great thing is some of the money that is used when purchased goes to charity.  These two stamps that I used comes from the "Positive Thoughts" stamps.  Please take a look and go to http://www.kandrewdesigns.com/ and check them out. Kristal is a great inspiration to all of us.  I ordered three sets and I can just see the endless possibilities.............. Friends

This card was made from a CD that I won on a Polka Doodles Blog Hop.  I got it several days ago and just had to use it today. My friend Enfys used these CD on a lot of her cards over at "Going Buggy".  Go visit her she is the master of using Promarkers. A very talented lady and a great inspiration.  The card base is textured brown card stock and the paper and image both are from the CD "Double Sprinkles Of Kraft".  I have not had time to look at everything on the CD but it has lots of goodies on it. My stamp did not come out good on the saying so I ended up using a black pen to create the saying. You can tell I cannot print very good.  I used brads and flowers for her hair and brad butterflies.  I love the lady bug.  This CD does images in 3 sizes and in B&W. This card is a 6 x 6 which I love. I will probably order a few more later.  I am truly blessed to have a lot of "Good Friends". I hope you enjoy the card and please leave a comment because we all love comments.

Happy Birthday & Summertime For Two Great Boys!

The hats, fish, and crab are K & Co.  The waves are Bazzill boarders.  The Sharks, and the number are cut from "Birthday Bash". This is a great cartridge for children's birthdays.
She also has another grandson and of course we had to make him a card also. Adventurous!

This card is dedicated to my friend "Kristal" at "Getting Cricky". Click the badge on the left side of my blog and you will go directly to her blog and view her new stamps.
She has come out with a terrific line of new stamps. Be sure and visit her blog and purchase a set or three. The money goes to her charities which you can read about on her blog. The camera kind of covered up the saying. It says "Adventurous" willing to
take chances, daring.  She is one of the most positive people I know. Her stamps are a reflection of her. This stamp is not hers but I used it to reflect her new adventure.
I love this balloon stamp I detached the basket after stamping and colored and use thread to attach the basket. Added ribbon and 3 orange buttons. The paper is "Bella" which is great. Please feel free to leave a comment because we all love comments. Yes, I did order some stamps from her.
