"Happy Patty's Day"

This card was created for a challenge over at "Cardz TV" and my friend Mary.  I had on my computer these saved digital pictures. I want to do another color besides green. The pattern paper has a yellow reflection so I said OK Yellow.  I used my markers and colored the "Shamrocks" and added a couple of buttons. The card has a Yellow base. I hope you enjoy it and please leave a comment because we all love comments.

"A Little Birdie Told Me"

This is a card I made for a very special person who loves red birds. This card was fun to make. I used a Brown Kraft base card with a pattern paper from a 6 X 6 Paper Pad called Fine and Dandy.  I love the paper in this pad.   The idea came from the front of Cricut Cards magazine.  The bird and layers were cut from the "Spring Cottage Seasonal Cartridge". The sentiment came from 1/2 of a stamp in a set from "The Pink Stamper".  I inked 1/2 of the stamp and used it.  Inside it has a border from the patter paper and says "Happy Birthday".   I hope you enjoy this and please leave a comment because we all love comments.

Birthday Owl....................

This was such a fun birthday card to make..  I used a blue base and wanted all the cuts to show so did not do a background paper.  The owl was cut from my cartridge "Lite Hoot & Holler".  The idea came from Cricut Cards magazine which has an owl for every occasion.  The background of the owl pattern paper came from a paper stack called "All Seasons".  The sentiment came from the same cartridge along with the balloon.  Instead of a bow cut I use curly ribbon in blue.  I am not great a bows.  The balloon was bare and needed something so I added a green scalloped circle from my scraps and another layer of yellow with a yellow heart.  Last but not least was my google eyes that has yellow eyebrows... I love this card and it was so...................much fun to make.  I hope you and she will like it. Please leave a comment because we all love comments.

Lacy Birthday Card

This card was made for a special friend that has a birthday in March. She is very special and I hope she likes this.  The cuts were made from Cricut Lite Lacy Labels cartridge.  The card base is Aqua and the paper is gold, aqua, and brown.  I love the paper and wanted to try and show as much as possible and not cover it up.  I took the same paper and cut out some of the designs and pop dotted them on top of the Lite Lacy Labels.  Had a stamped sentiment and this was the results. Hope you like it and please leave a comment because we all love comments.

"Special Friends Birthday"

Another "Birthday Card". This was so much fun to make and I love the outcome.   I don't care to much for the color of yellow. I used a yellow base with a layer of design paper. It is a melon color or lite pink with yellow dots. Matched perfect with the Rose punch out from one of my paper stacks. I love lace and have a lot of it so I thought need to start using some of it. So I glued the lace across the card. Used a stamp on a piece of Yellow after making rounded corners with my favorite punch.  Added "Happy Birthday" with a stamp from one of my stamp sets and pearl brads in peach and yellow. I made this for a very dear friend who is having a "Birthday" this week.  I hope she likes it.  Please leave a comment because we all love comments..........

Another "Sew Special" Card

Valentine's Day is over and time to get into the next group of cards that I need to make.  I have some birthdays for some very special friends before the end of the month. This was inspired from the other card that I made. All the material and paper and stamps came from my favorite magazine "Cardmaking and Papercrafts". The buttons came from a $.98 cent pack from Walmart. She is so talented and is really a mini "Martha Stewart".  I hope she will like this card. Please leave a comment because we all love comments.

Scrappy Valentine

This is the last "Valentine" card for this year.  I was using up some scraps in my box. The paper is MS. I love the hearts.  The large strip across the bottom of the card is from freebie paper from Cardmaking and Papercrafts.  My new all time favorite magazine.  The stamp is from the "It's Valentines! set from my sweet friend Kristal Andrews stamps.  This was a rush "Valentine".  I am giving this with a box of candy to one of the sweetest ladies. She helps me more than she will ever know.

"Cannot Contain My Love"

I have seen several cards made with a mason jar and just had to find one to make.  The "AKABusy Bee" posted a card she made using a Mason Jar cut from "Doodlecharms".  I just happened to have this cartridge.  I saw the idea in the "Cards" magazine which had this Mason Jar with on white background with this saying.  So I put both ideas together and this was my version.  I did a red base card and wanted a background. I found this great paper black with hearts.  Next came the mason jar which was cut at 3 1/2 inches. I added hearts and covered with a clear layer which I hope you can see.  Added the saying and this was what you get. The heart coming out of the jar and others on the pattern paper are suppose to be escaping from the jar. I had so much fun doing this card.  Thanks to "AKABusy Bee" and "Cards" magazine for the inspiration.  Hope you like it. Please leave a comment because we all love comments.

Deepest Sympathy

This card was made for a friend who lost her Dad in January.  This is the hardest type of card to make in my opinion. The base was black layered with a print of black and white flower paper.  The sayings on the outside and inside were from a set of stamps from K. Andrews called "Sympathetic Sayings"........... I added flower and red centers to give just a little bit of color. I had some ribbon that I got at "Big Lot's". I hope she will like it.  Please leave a comment because we all love comments.

"Sew Special Birthday Card"

This was such a fun card to make.  My mother-in-law in Ohio has a birthday this month and I wanted to do something special.  I love anything in a card to do with sewing.  I also have a wonderful magazine that inspires me more than the "Cricut Magazines from Northridge which I still love.  This magazine is "Cardmaking & PaperCraft from the UK.  I get an issue every 2 months.  This magazine always has a set of stamps and lots of neat paper.  This was the "January" issue.  The paper, stamps, and the sayings all came from what I got and this issue. The buttons came from Walmart and the thread I already had to wind around the spools which was in the stamp set.
The only things that was mine was the "Happy Birthday" stamp and the dress form which I had already made up and just covered it to match the paper.  The stamp set also included a dress form but I did not use it because I had one made up. Hope she likes it.  Please leave a comment because we all love comments.

Happy 3rd Birthday!

Made this card for a special little girl who is going to be 3 years old the 26th of February.  This was made with an ocean blue base and birthday party animal printed paper for the next layer.  The giraffe was cut from "Birthday Bash" cartridge and so was the "Happy Birthday and the number 3.  I added the purple accent to post them on and this was the results.  All those giraffe pieces are really small for an old lady. Love the skates. Hope you enjoy it and please leave a comment because we all love comments.

"Valentine For My Sweetie"

I have been thinking about doing a card with hearts on in for awhile.  This was made for someone very special to me for "Valentine's Day".   He and I have know each other since we were in 1st grade. After being gone from each other for 30 years  he came back into my life.  This digi was from "Meljens Design"that I had saved.  I hope that was correct on where it came from.  I used red for the card base and layered it with a white paper with pink and red hearts.  I colored it with markers and "Lipstick Red" copic markers.  I added a little bling with a large red heart.  The saying was one that I thought of and added 3 more little bling hearts.  I hope you like it and please leave a comment because we all love comments.....................
