Something Different! "Apple Of My Eye"

This was something new for me.  This is a 12 X 12 piece of paper with apples as the background.  The frame was cut from the cartridge "Fancy Frames".  The saying was cut from "Just Because Cards".  I got this wonderful photo from my God Son's wife of their beautiful daughters.  I wanted to do something special to send it back to her for Christmas.  I also added an apple and made the scarecrow from a pattern and used red brads so his arms and legs can be moved. I colored him with "Bic Markers".  It is all under glass in a "Shadow Box" frame that set up on the table like a picture. I hope she likes this.  This is my first project for 2013.  I hope you like this and please leave a comment because we all like comments.

This card was made for a challenge over at "Polka Doodles". It's a red and white challenge. The pattern paper is from a pad I got at "Big Lots".  The apple is a digi from  "Meljens Designs" which I have had for some time http://meljensdesignsdt.blogspot.com/. The saying is from "Just Because" cartridge. and the white square is from my new cartridge "Elegant Edges". The label had a butterfly that was cut in it which is perfect for me....... Be sure and visit Polka Doodles blog and look at all the great CD's that she has available.  This card was so much fun to make. Hope you enjoy and be sure and leave a comment because we all love comments.

Happy Birthday

My neighbor wanted me to do 2 cards for her. This is for a little girl that loves "Ladybugs".  I just happened to have one already cut out from the "Just Because" cartridge. I love the black background paper it makes the bug show up really great. Added a little bling and a wiggle eye that has an eyebrow on it. These eyes are so cute.
Hope you like it and be sure and leave a comment because we all love comments.

Apple Of My Eye!

This card was made for a challenge over at Cardz TV.  The blogger has been down so I was not sure I would make the challenge. The saying was cut on Stencil from the Just Because Cartridge.  The paper was from a GCD paper stack purchased at Big Lots regular $5.00 for half price. The apple was a Dimensional Sticker  package from Michael's in the $1.00 Bin.  I added a little blink and here is the results. This was a fun card to make. Please leave a comment.

Fall Card (Challenge)#41

Made for a challenge for Cricut Cut Challenge. These cards were a challenge to me.  I did not believe how much Orange, Yellow, & Brown that my fall paper had. I had to really dig to find something without those colors. So here it is.  Good Luck to everyone. Please feel free to join my blog and leave a comment.

Friendship (Hello)

These cards were inspired by Mary at Cardz TV.  Thanks for the idea. I have not been able to do any cards for awhile. I have been busy with summer activities, reunions, fun in the sun, and my parents. Hope eveyone enjoys these.  I am trying to use my scraps.

Older & Wiser, Birthday

These two cards are made for two very special friends that have birthdays coming up. One loves green and owls and is so special to me. You are going to see the card before she. These were made from Just Because and the new Celebrate with Flourish. I love the phrase "Happy Birthday".

New Take on A Old Card (Friends)

I made a card like this one before but it only had the lady bug and the background has words about friends which does not show up very well. I did another card with the phrase from "Just Because". I added some glossy border and a cute little ladybug with glitter on it from Martha Stewart.
