"Aprll Showers"

This was a fun card and another one made with scraps from the scrap box.   I love this paper with all the umbrella's and that was the last of it.  I used the cartridge "April Showers" for the phrases.  The boots and flowers on the inside of the card in the second photo came from a "Polka doodles" CD that I ordered which has lots of images, sayings, and digi's...........I have rain drops that are added on the first picture that are light blue and hope you can see them.  I hope you like the card and please leave a comment because we all love comments.

April Showers!

This card is made for a challenge over at "Cardz TV".  The paper I purchased some time ago because of the umbrella's. The April Showers words came from the cartridge "April Shower's". I used a new CD that I purchased from "Polka Doodles". This one was Enfys favorite over at "Going Buggy".  The CD was "Sundae Of Seasons". These Cd's have lots of wonderful things on them. Images colored and not and sentiments, paper, and labels that can be used to type your own sentiments and print them out. Check out both Mary and Enfys blog for more information. Dreams...........

I saw this card in the "Cricut Cards" magazine that I won and just loved it. I love the hot air balloon. This was a great idea made from 3 different Cricut cartridges. The book did not have a cartridge listed for the clouds. I used "Straight From The Nest" for the balloon which on the cartridge is a "Birdcage".  The bottom of the balloon is from the same cartridge and is a "Flowerpot".  Punch holes in both and used Embroidery thread in green.  Put the entire thing on pop dots and this is what I got. I used another cut for the dolly from "Easter Seasonal".  Clouds from "April Showers" with different blue papers and layered them. Background paper from a stack from "Big Lots" in a pattern blue. This card is an odd size 5 X 8.  I have never made a card this size...I am thinking about adding a pearl to each cloud. Spring Fever

  Made this card for the Challenge over at "The Pink Stamper".  Since I am reorganizing my craft room it was so easy to made this card. I knew where the paper was and the emblishments and bling and the idea came when I saw the paper.  I love purple and it is on a purple background with the next layer in yellow and then the saying from the "April Showers" cartridge. I added 3 flowers for bling and "Spring Fever". Hope you enjoy and please leave a comment.
