Happy Birthday

Have you ever started out with an idea that just was not meant to come out the way you wanted it to.  I got this wonderful material panel from Loralie Fabrics called Sew Fabulous Fabric Panel.  I love them.  I did not want to use them each for cards so I put them on my printer and scanned them. I cut them out and added a little bling. Pearls, sequin's, and flowers with a brad for the hat. Then I decided a border was needed also.  I added a "Happy Birthday" and this is what I got.  I am going to enter it on the Challenge at Birthday Sundaes. The Challenge was at use to use 3 circles. The background has circles.   Hope you enjoy and please leave a comment.

  1. Super cute for sure. Fabric?? What a wonderful idea lady! Left you a comment on FB as well. Have not worked on anything much...not in the craft mood at the moment. Ideas in my head so I need to get them done before they slip away!
Hugs and again - love it.

  5. Love it! These images have so much character. Love the idea of scanning them....I often do that with beautiful papers that I can't bring myself to cut!

  6. Sandy, I love this card. You did a fantastic job and great way to utilize the Fabric. I have Loralie Fabric also and have a hard time using it because I don't want cut it up...you know what I mean. Now I know how to use it. Thanks for the inspiration.
